Fifa World Cup fever hits Sandton

The much-awaited 2010 Fifa World Cup final draw watched globally did not cause a wave of euphoria in Cape Town alone.
Sandton’s Hyundai Skypark at Mushroom Farm Park became the Johannesburg base of a live televised feed for those unable to attend the main event in the Mother City.
Along with the thousands who attended the event came the rain but even that couldn’t dampen the spirit of South Africa.
