Business Robbery
Bryanston: Two night security guards on duty at a car dealership were confronted by four armed men who overpowered them. The guards were assaulted and tied up. The men broke into the car dealership and attempted to steal the flat screen TV, to no avail. They drove away in two cars from the workshop.
Aggravating Robbery
Rivonia: A man parked behind a blue VW Golf at a red traffic light in Rivonia Road. Three armed men got out of the Golf and robbed him of cash, a cellphone and bank card before driving away.
Buccleuch: A couple was walking their baby in a stroller when a silver sedan with the registration KYJ 960 GP with four occupants stopped next to them. Two men got out and pointed a gun at them and robbed them of jewellery and cellphones before driving away.
Police advise to leave jewellery and valuables at home when going for a walk.

Armed Robbery
Bryanston: A woman was at home when she heard the dog barking. On investigation she found a woman at the gate who said she needed to use the bathroom.
When she opened the gate for the woman, she was suddenly approached by two men who threatened her with a knife.
The men tied her up, covered her mouth and threw a duvet over her. After she managed to untie herself, she discovered electrical appliances were stolen.
Theft Out Of Car
Bryanston: A woman stopped at a red traffic light on Main Road when a man smashed the front passenger window and grabbed her handbag. A second woman also reported her handbag stolen by a man who smashed her front passenger window and grabbed her handbag on Main Road.
