SANDTON POLICE STATION
Paulshof: A woman driving a black Mercedes-Benz C200 stopped in her driveway, waiting for the gate to open, when a silver Mercedes-Benz C220 diesel stopped behind her. Three armed men got out and ordered her to keep quiet and get out of the car. They robbed her of jewellery, got into her car and drove away.
Bryanston: A couple arrived home from their morning run and the wife opened windows and the family room sliding door. While the husband was in the shower he heard her screaming.
On investigation he was confronted by an armed man who forced him to lie down. Four other men brought his two daughters and his wife into the main bedroom and tied them up. The men ransacked the house taking a computer, music system, cellphones and jewellery which they loaded into one of the daughter’s blue VW CitiGolf before driving away in it.
Morningside Manor: A man was at home when his friend opened the front door to go to her car. As she opened the door she saw a man standing in front of her.
She slammed the door and ran to the owner of the house in the kitchen. They were confronted by two armed men in the kitchen who took them to the bedroom and tied them up. The men ransacked the house taking a TV, Playstation, jewellery, cellphones and laptops which they loaded into the woman’s car, a silver VW Polo and drove away. The car was later recovered in Alex.
