BUSINESS ROBBERY
Benmore: Four armed men entered a cellphone shop, held up the security guard, and locked up a staff member, customer and the guard in the office.
They ransacked the shop, removing cellphones from the safe. A staff member pressed the panic button as the men drove away in a red Toyota Corolla. A police officer on patrol spotted the car, gave chase and arrested two men. The cellphones were recovered.

HIJACKING
Buccleuch: A man arrived home, parked his car in the garage and was closing the gate when a black Fiat Palio arrived.
Two armed men got out while the driver stayed in the car. The men robbed him of his cellphone, wristwatch and wallet. They got into the man’s silver Toyota Hilux and drove away. The car was later recovered in Alexandra.

DRIVEWAY ROBBERY
Sandown: A man was in his driveway when a visitor arrived and a silver BMW 5 series followed him in.
Two men got out and robbed them of jewellery, cellphones, house keys and the gate remote before driving away.
