HOUSE ROBBERY AND THEFT OF CAR
Petervale: A man was working in his office at home when he was confronted by two armed men who gained entry through an open door in the TV room. The men held him and asked who else was in the house. He told them the domestic worker was in her room.
One of the men fetched the domestic worker and tied up her and the homeowner.
They robbed the man of R150 and a wristwatch and took his car keys and drove away in his blue VW Polo.
It was later recovered in Hillbrow.
Paulshof: A man was at home when he was approached by two armed men. A while later they were joined by two more armed men who walked in with his wife and two domestic workers. The men ransacked the house taking a plasma TV, jewellery and a large sum of money from the safe.
The four men drove away in the homeowner’s three cars, a silver Toyota Fortuna, silver VW Golf 5 and silver Audi A4.

Parkmore: A man arrived home and parked his car in the garage and was getting out of his car when confronted by three men.
One had a firearm and threatened to shoot him. They robbed him of a laptop and wallet before driving away in a Opel Corsa bakkie.
HINTS AND TIPS
Sandton police station spokesman Inspector Lee Ramdiyal said the modus operandi for break-ins and robbery in the areas was to derail motorised gates.
Ramdiyal said residents should install anti-lift brackets on railed gates and secure pushed gates with a magnetic lock.
NOTE
Members of the Sandton police station and the community wish resident pastor Keith Warmback a speedy recovery at Morningside clinic.
