Refuse collection schedule not affected on public holidays

Pikitup’s refuse collection schedule will not be affected by the flurry of public holidays during March and April.
The first of these holidays will be Human Rights Day on 22 March followed by Good Friday on 2 April, Family day on 5 April and Freedom Day on 27 April.Pikitup will provide a full service on these days.
Residents are urged to recycle waste material that will emanate from these holidays such as greetings cards, beverage bottles, ice cream containers etc, which can be disposed of at the local garden sites.
